Claudian ("we", "the plugin", "the project") is an open-source Obsidian community plugin. This page describes how this website (claudian.xyz) handles data. The plugin itself is a local tool that runs entirely on your machine — it does not send data to Claudian servers.
2. Website Analytics
This website may use Google Analytics and/or Cloudflare Web Analytics to collect anonymized usage data (pages visited, session duration, country-level location). No personally identifiable information is collected.
Analytics can be disabled by using a browser extension that blocks tracking scripts.

4. The Claudian Plugin
The Claudian Obsidian plugin is a local application. It:
- Does not collect or transmit vault data to Claudian servers
- Communicates directly with AI provider CLIs (Claude Code, Codex, Opencode) running on your machine
- Stores settings in your vault's
.obsidian/plugins/claudian/directory
Your conversations with AI providers are subject to those providers' own privacy policies (Anthropic, OpenAI, etc.).
