Claudian ("we", "the plugin", "the project") is an open-source Obsidian community plugin. This page describes how this website (claudian.xyz) handles data. The plugin itself is a local tool that runs entirely on your machine — it does not send data to Claudian servers.

2. Website Analytics

This website may use Google Analytics and/or Cloudflare Web Analytics to collect anonymized usage data (pages visited, session duration, country-level location). No personally identifiable information is collected.

Analytics can be disabled by using a browser extension that blocks tracking scripts.

3. Cookies

This website uses no first-party cookies for tracking. Analytics providers may set cookies per their own privacy policies:

4. The Claudian Plugin

The Claudian Obsidian plugin is a local application. It:

• Does not collect or transmit vault data to Claudian servers
• Communicates directly with AI provider CLIs (Claude Code, Codex, Opencode) running on your machine
• Stores settings in your vault's .obsidian/plugins/claudian/ directory

Your conversations with AI providers are subject to those providers' own privacy policies (Anthropic, OpenAI, etc.).

5. Third-Party Links

This website contains links to external sites (GitHub, Obsidian, AI provider docs). We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those sites.

6. Changes

We may update this policy. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date.
